Cancellation Policy

We really value time – both yours, and ours. Running an efficient practice allows us to provide a high quality and professional service our patients, and gives us time to increase our knowledge and expertise through professional development. We pride ourselves on punctuality and respect the time of our patients. Our cancellation policy supports and respects the time commitment of our clients and our physiotherapists, and is intended to make our expectations clear. 

 

1. We prefer that you attend your appointment at the scheduled time.

 

2. If you cancel or re-book your appointment with more than 24 hours notice there is no charge to you. However, a few days’ notice would be ideal so that we have time to fill your spot from our waiting list.

 

3. If you arrive late to an appointment, but within your allocated time slot, you may receive a shorter consultation in an effort to not inconvenience other clients after you. It will be at the physiotherapist's discretion to decide whether or not there is sufficient time remaining to provide adequate treatment to you. 

 

4. We understand that, on occasion, there are circumstances beyond your control that result in having to cancel without sufficient notice. However, we want to encourage a culture of attendance at our clinic, and we need to be able to offer empty appointment times to other patients requiring  therapy. If you cancel or re-book your appointment with less than 24 hours notice 3 or more times in a calendar year, you will be charged 50%  of your consultation fee in order to account for a portion of lost revenue.
